		<description>Right.  It seems to me, however, that it's a lot easier to properly regulate food than it is to properly regulate the financial sector in the 21st century.

If it's being done right, it's probably NOT being done by the US government.  I say this as a registered Dem (do not forget the Dems' complicity in the Fannie and Freddie debacles).</description>

		<description>A bigger shame, to me, is that there are still plenty of people who identify themselves as moderate Republicans, and support their party - and McCain - completely ignorant of your very true last statement.

I really the far right's attempt to take down actual moderate Republicans, like Lincoln Chafee, would have been the wake up call, but I guess not.</description>
