I try not to think about Sam Alito, so I had conveniently blanked out of my mind one of the major issues from his confirmation, his membership in the “Concerned Alumni of Princeton.” They were concerned about not having too many females, or minorities, or, Heaven forfend, minority women at Princeton.

As Jamison Foser reminds me, not only was Alito given a pass on this, the media consensus was that the Democrats were being big bullies for even bringing it up.
